Toyota influence on my way - Part 3

Pyramid for success 4) Base or foundation :- Philosophy or Planning :- Must be long term should emphasize over Patience, Customer Satisfaction, Right way for doing things and Trusting workers. Going for One flow process in which one process triggers other so no overproduction no ideal time 3) 1st Middle Support :- Process :- Crucial to eliminate waste 2) 2nd Middle Support :- People :- Must be qualified for the job; Respect, Challenge and Grow them 4) Top :- Problem Solving :- For continuous improvement of people and process Waste is anything consuming resources and not having corresponding value associated with it. Worker, Machines and process all must be treated as Customers; as all as some demands and gives revenues

8 Wastes we must avoid 1) Overproduction :- leads to waste of materials, space, money. Going for batch approach rather than Just In time. With today's fast moving world, JIT approach exceeds Batch by a long distance. 2) Waiting :- Waiting for some resource , some person. In industries workers not having work in the hours define for working. 3) Unnecessary Movements :- Transportation, Moving here and there to ask a thing. Movements of parts by company from one facility to another. 4) Over-processing :- Adds extra step into the process, with no improvement to anybody or anything. 5) Excess Inventory or Excess work :- Leads to waste of time , workers and money. Taking too much work for a short time approach will hamper long term planning as will include more of everything, which will be difficult to layoff in longer periods. 6) Defects/Rework/Scrap/Replacement :- All these are results of not having a process to follow, having too much work , fast decision making. 7) Unused Employee Creativity :- Losing ideas, skills, money by not having appropriate work for a employee which he/she is hired for. Not having regular meetings to discuss problems or new approach with employees i.e non-involvement of people by management 8) Overlapping of work :- Thinking of peer to be less qualified from you for that job.

8 Principles for success 1) Think Long Term 2) Have a Process Flow :- for every small or big thing which you do in your life. 3) Never overburden :- yourself, your machine etc , leads to wear and tear or breakdown which causes waste due to ideal time 4) Stop to fix problem to get quality right :- rather than going for temporarily patch or just make shift as it increases the severity of problem 5) Use technology :- it is all around ourselves, for any type or size of problem or work try to use technology as lessens waste and increases turnaround period 6) Grow people Respect people :- every person can be used in some way, thinking of mainly your peers as less qualified then you disrupts the team working , also leads to overdoing of work 7) Decision Making - SLOW; Implementation - FAST :- Take time to analyse and finding blue print solution of a problem, but implement it fast. The blue print must be accurate so that later overwork can be avoided. 8) Use of PULL :- Work must be objective in nature, so that it can be divided into small and independent quantities. This will lead to non failure of process if one unit fails.

ALONE

Who is alone...me or the god...or all of u who are living or just us the homo sapiens? lots lots lots of things we do, work,paint,dance,sports..each and every day we tend to make something new...but for whom , for what and why? Are we trying so hard to do something so that we can escape this all nonsense of not knowing who we really are, what we want? We make money, fall in love, dreams and try to turn it into reality, but even then we never had a moment in our life where we can stop, because as soon as we stops we starts fallin into a grt void, a abyss. How hard we try to live our life, we had invented and discovered a thousand things but of no use. Still we are no great than the animals or birds or any "livin minus homo sapiens" out there. We are eat, shits, loves and dies. Then why can't we just stop and let roll into the flow of nature. Is god also so lonely(if he is?)? Are we his sons, or just his toys. We like video games, we like them more when they seems more real. We are creating robots, trying to find out new forms of lifes, petting all living creatures. WHY? ...because we like something to entertain as with its randomness....we like to be masters but even then we like a spark of rebel in our followers or slaves, but just a spark not the fire. So is it same with god..he created us because he is lonely. Is the mountains, plains, oceans are just animation to him. Does he also simply reboots his machine when things goes little bit out of control. Are we trapped in Schrodinger equations? Encaged in a invisible box called dynasty, within which we can roam a little, but can't leap out of it, as it requires a huge amount of energy.. and when someone is able to pull it off, we called him GENIUS. Is the world around us is real? is it same as we sees it? ....forget it does we look like as we appears in the mirror..or its just some illusion..what if we are 4,5,6 D creatures , but are eyes converts it to 3D. The GITA seems so true, that this whole world is a JAAL OF MOH MAYA. Running here and there , losing weights - gaining weights, loading layers of make up, reading books - writing books, trying to find more and more beautiful partner, tryin to became more rich , tryin to become a marvel. But why all this? Since we don't know who are we, what we should do, how to stop this spinning earth?
